Thanksgiving Break!

This past week was Thanksgiving break. It was so much fun! Monday and Tuesday was our only day of school for the week because of Thanksgiving. On Wednesday I went to my best friend's house. Her name is Ashley and we play together a lot! We always have a fun time together because we have a lot of things similar like we both have hamsters and we both like to be really creative and crazy. So I had a late-night with her and we did fun things together like jump on the tramp, play on our swing sets, spy on people, make movies on the computer, and laugh. Then I went home and watched a movie called "Fred Claus". On Thursday, Hunter and I woke up at the same time and we played a fun game called "Rock Band!" I was the singer which was so fun to me to feel like a famous rockstar and Hunter was the guitar player. Then me and Hunter, while waiting for Thanksgiving to really begin, jumped on the tramp, goofed around, and played with our fake guitars. Finally it was time to go to grandma's house to have Thanksgiving! I had so much fun. I ate a ton, I played some Wii Kinect, and ate delicious pie for dessert. Then Grandma and Papa said that me Hunter and Elisabeth could sleep over at there house it was so FUN!  At night we watched two movies called "8 Below", and "The Polar Express". Then in the morning we ate crepes for breakfast made by Papa :) and played a ton of air hockey. The rest of Friday I just played with my friend Ashley again and Hunter played with Ashley's brother Derek and then my family picked us up and we went looking for our first real Christmas tree!  It was freezing outside when we were trying to find one, but we found the perfect tree and it really makes our house smell like Christmas!  Afterwards we talked my Dad into taking us to Red Robin for dinner and it was really good.  I had such a fun day with my family and friends!  On Saturday it was Krissy's baby shower! It was awesome. Everybody talked, ate good food, and watched Krissy open presents for her baby girl.  My Mom brought the awesomest cupcakes --there were three different kinds of cup cakes: peanut butter, carrot cake, and the last was raspberry cream.  After the baby shower, I went back over to Ashley's house and brought her three left over cupcakes from the baby shower and it made her day. We had another late night at her house playing night games outside with Hunter and Derek. I had an AWESOME Thanksgiving break! I wish I could go back in time and do it all over again!

Spring Break 2011

This past week me and my family went on a vacation. We flew into Los Angeles and the first thing we did on our vacation was to go see the Hollywood sign.  It was awesome! I was so thrilled to see the Hollywood sign because I love making movies and I have always wanted to be famous so it just makes me think-- free access to fame!  I like to think about how lots of famous people have also been to the Hollywood sign and how it's been in lots of movies.  After that we went to see the Hollywood Star Walk of Fame.  It was so cool when we went there because we saw a whole bunch of stars that had famous people's names printed on them like Godzilla, Sandra Bullock, Harry Potter, Brittany Spears, Johnny Depp, Michael Jackson, and tons more!

Then the next day we got a ride in a taxi which drove us to a cruise ship called The Norwegian Star  and that's where we spent the rest of the week.  It was so fun!  The first day which was Saturday, we checked everything out like the restaurants, the pools, the theater and a whole bunch of other cool stuff.  On Sunday, we spent all day at sea.  We played shuffle board, and a game of chess with giant two and a half feet tall pieces.  We weren't allowed to go swimming because it was Sunday.  At dinner time we went to a nice Italian restaurant.  After that we went to a hypnotist show.  It was so funny!  He got the guests to do embarrassing things like pretending to be famous musicians, and men pretending to be underwear models.  But the funniest thing was the boy who lost his bum!  It was hilarious.  On Monday,  we hired a water taxi to take us on a water tour.   It was so cool!  We saw many famous arches.  Then we got out of the boat and and played in the water and on the beach all day.  The water was crystal blue.  On Tuesday, the ship dropped us off again at Cabo San Lucas and me and Elisabeth got our whole heads braided, and then after that Elisabeth and Ashton went to see real baby tigers!  We also went to the Mexican flea markets and got some souvenirs.  On Wednesday, they dropped us off at Puerto Vallarta and we went on lots of zip lines through the forest.  It was so fun and so far up in the air!  On Thursday, we went to a magic show on the ship.  One of the tricks the magician did was making a girl fly!  On Friday we continued cruising at sea heading home. We swam, ate, and swam some more. Then me and Hunter went up and down on the elevators door bell ditching people and then getting back on the elevator to run away. While me and Hunter were doing that, we saw the magician in person and it was so cool because he's famous in Los Vegas.  So we talked to him and then we promised him we would go to his show that night.   So we did and we were in the very front row and he kept winking at me and Hunter and threw big white confetti all over us.  It was so awesome!  It was a very fun cruise.   It was my favorite Spring Break ever!  We had a blast!!!

Young Women's / My Birthday

Last week was my very first day of young womens. I first had an interview with the bishop. During the interview he wanted me to say the eleventh article of faith to him. I barely knew it so I told him I memorized them all but I couldn't really remember them and he told me I could look at the article of faith paper a few times. I was just happy because he let it slide so I got my Faith in God award. Then he gave me a temple recommend! Which was cool. Then I was done and it was time for church. I got called me up in front of everybody! It was fun going up, and I kept telling myself "Be strong!" He said "Madison Flynn turned twelve today and has earned her temple recommend and her Faith in God award." Then I went back and sat down. It was supposed to be my very first week of young womens but it was Ward conference, so today was pretty much my very first real week at young womens! It was fun. I felt very welcomed by the other beehives.
Also my birthday party was last week and it was my favorite birthday party ever! I invited nine friends and we went to the Kangaroo zoo. (kangaroo zoo is a huge bounce house) It was very fun and we played "follow the judge" there. Then we left and we came back to my house and ate pizza and had cake and presents. One of my presents was a cell phone! It is my very first phone!!! Then we went downstairs to my room. While we were at Kangaroo zoo, the beehives (young women) went into our house and decked out my room with decorations and then left. There were decorations everywhere and gushers too! It was a huge surprise. Then we played with my birthday toys. It was a lot of fun!!! Oh--I got a really nice new bike too. It's fun being 12!

Sam Puckett Prank!!!

Two weeks ago, my cousin Thai came over and we made a movie called  The Sam Puckett Prank.   The Sam Puckett Prank is about my cousin Thai falling asleep in my moms bed and I put whip cream on her hand and she smacks her face!  Hahaha!  I made this video because I am a huge fan of Sam Puckett from the show iCarly.   I decided to put it on YouTube because maybe someday Sam Puckett might see my video and comment and then she'll know who I am!!!!

Charlie Bit My Finger

My cousin Thai came over and while she was over we made a movie called (Charlie Bit My Finger). It was so funny because we went to the real "Charlie Bit My Finger" on youtube and then pressed play and went to photo booth and pressed play and we mouthed the words so it looks like we have 6 year old voices!

My Reflections!

For the Reflections contest, me, my mom and my dad decided that since I love to make movies, I would do a stop motion picture video.  So me and my dad went on the picnic table outside, and got some erasers which were... a hamburger, a smoothie, french fries, and a popsicle.  I made a script of what was going to happen in the movie and then my dad took the pictures as I slowly moved the erasers.  He took a picture through every movement.  When we were done with that, we put it on a video program and made a title and then me, my dad, and Hunter made the voices. I did the drink and the french fries, my dad did Mr. Hamburger, and Hunter did the popsicle. Then my dad put it onto a DVD and gave it to my teachers the day Reflections entry was due.  A month later, my teachers told me I was a finalist! (which means i get to keep moving on) I was so happy!
